The Challenge:
The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation commissioned MangoTango Asia to implement the MSMEs Business Development Training Program. The program aimed to support business development for MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in Cambodia, by improving their capacity to grow business operations in alignment with current, digitized practices, and to be able to effectively deal with today’s business challenges.
The Process:
MangoTango developed a training program by conducting a training needs assessment with 30 representative MSMEs. A total of 165 MSMEs were selected and were provided training in subjects regarding: business scaling, digital marketing, staff management & leadership, and digital marketing.
The Outcome:
The training program provided the skills and training necessary to help the involved MSMEs improve their business performance.
The Result:
The MSMEs reported improved sales, productivity, staff retention, brand awareness, lead generation, and more.
