The Challenge:
Educate MSMEs with limited digital literacy skills on modern-day digital marketing tools.
The Process:
Using a human-centered design process, MangoTango was able to use the right tools to analyze the skill gaps of Cambodian MSME’s. After this analysis, we were able to design a curated curriculum featuring appropriate materials and content to train MSME’s alongside Khmer Enterprise.
The Outcome:
MangoTango provided a highly informative training program for MSMEs. The program materials were offered in Khmer and English (although the session itself was presented in Khmer). The program featured content such as Fundamentals of Digital Marketing, Facebook Functions, Security Management, E-commerce, and other social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
- 31 trainees completed the training
- Different MSMEs from different provinces (Mostly in Phnom Penh)
- 2 trainers and 2 guest speakers teach and share experiences
- 5 training sessions (15h)
The Result:
Trainees were able to gain valuable information through the provided skill sets. The trainees have also requested an advanced Digital Marketing and Brand Development course to improve their businesses.
